What is The this little light of mine in Space?

Payload Image

This Little Light of Mine in Space is a payload. A payload is a container. Inside that container is a small TV studio. The studio will broadcast a film back to Earth. The film is entitled This Little Light of Mine.

It is a film of children’s choirs singing This Little Light of Mine. The payload is loaded into a bigger container aboard a Rocket which will transport the This Little Light of Mine in Space payload to the International space station.

What is The ISS?

The Rocket Lifts Off!

The Payload with the film inside is launched into space in a capsule aboard The Rocket and catches up with the ISS.

The robot grabs it!

When The Rocket catches up to the ISS, a robotic arm grabs the Capsule with the Payload and plugs it into the ISS.

The Payload beams!

Once plugged in, the payload beams the film back to earth as data. You will be able to see it on the This Little Light of Mine in Space website.
